If someone has arrived, something unusual has happened or there’s the faintest hint of a mystery unfolding, Rab has probably heard about it first—and is already halfway through telling everyone else. His colourful personality, quick wit and endless chatter ensure there’s never a dull moment when he’s nearby.
Beneath the dramatic stories and playful exaggeration lies a loyal friend who genuinely enjoys bringing people together. Whether welcoming new guests, entertaining everyone with tales of the day’s events or providing running commentary from his favourite perch, Rab reminds us that life is always more enjoyable when there’s laughter to share.

Where You'll Find Rab the Gab
Rab is rarely difficult to find—you simply have to listen. Most days he’s perched proudly in the Parlour of Mild Irritations, greeting guests, sharing the latest news and offering colourful commentary on everything happening around the retreat. If there’s a conversation taking place, chances are Rab is already part of it… whether he was invited or not.
